RESOURCE-FULL - extracting maximum value from builders' rubble: a tour

Builders' rubble may be a high-performing construction material if handled and processed correctly. Given the potential to save costs on virgin materials and create jobs through the application of builders' rubble, why are we still landfilling more the R10 million worth of material in the City of Cape Town annually? Explore this value chain with us on a tour starting at a landfill, moving on to a crushing site and a block manufacturer using rubble in their process, and ending up at site where builders' rubble has been successfully applied on a large scale. Hosted by the GBCSA in partnership with GreenCape.
