Event Sponsors

The Green Building Council SA hosts a number of building tours, member events, courses and networking events across the nation each year. These events provide sponsors with an opportunity to showcase their own green leadership to a targeted audience of like-minded professionals and key decision makers.

Partner with us by sponsoring an event and benefit from the platform that we can provide to broaden the network you wish to reach. Sponsor an event and become a key role player in changing the way the world is built.

The following are available options:

  •  Building tours: These are held to give members and non-members exposure to certified buildings. The focus is on experiencing the building and education around the green building aspects. The accredited professionals, project owner and perhaps the architect will give delegates insight into what makes this building green and how it came about.
  •  Regional networking events: Catering for both members and non-members, these events are focused on bringing relevant speakers and key topics to the audience.  This event allows the opportunity for business-to-business networking among local leaders and pioneers in order to progress the green building agenda in the SA property sector.
  • Education hosting: We run our 3 AP programmes in all the major cities several times a year. The purpose of these is to educate and inform delegates on the Green Star Rating tools.

This is not limited to any category of membership so whether it be product manufacturer/supplier, architect, government body etc., we welcome your participation and support.

GBCSA commits to align its events with member facilities, star rated projects. We strive to give our members the opportunity to showcase their product, new innovations, building projects, interior fit-outs and the latest technology.

Rating tool sponsors

Sponsorship of a Green Star SA Rating Tool contributes to funding the cost of developing individual rating tools. The tool development process involves paid consultants and the assembly of a voluntary Technical Working Group. Budgets for the costs of development for individual tools will be compiled and sponsorship sought. Each tool or benchmarking development project may be sponsored by principal and associate sponsors. Sponsors are recognised through branding on the rating tool documentation and full participation in the launch of the rating tool, in addition to extensive PR and marketing communications exposure. Sponsors are also encouraged to participate in the Technical Working Group which develops the tool and to submit projects as pilot projects to test the tool.
