It is with great excitement that these two (2) separate REQUEST FOR QUOTES are posted on our website:

  1. GREEN STAR NEW BUILD CUSTOM GOVERNMENT BUILDINGS RATING TOOL FOR AGRÉMENT SOUTH AFRICA & GBCSA
  2. GREEN STAR EXISTING BUILDING PERFORMANCE (EBP) GOVERNMENT BUILDINGS RATING TOOL FOR AGRÉMENT SOUTH AFRICA & GBCSA

They will be open from: 13 May 2020 until Friday, 12 June at 16h30

NO LATE SUBMISSIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED

The process will include the review and customisation of green building rating tools for government which will enabling the Department of Public Works and Infrastructure (DPWI) to lead by example.

In this process, DPWI and Agrément SA will be responsible for the procurement of service providers for the customisation of green building rating tools for government. The GBCSA provides technical review input on any proposed customisations.

Existing Building Performance

The customisation of the GREEN STAR EXISTING BUILDING PERFORMANCE (EBP) GOVERNMENT BUILDINGS RATING TOOL will be based off the Existing Building Performance (EBP) v1.

The customisation will not include changes to benchmarks and the introduction of new assessment criteria, but rather modifications to the existing assessment criteria and requirements to enhance applicability and appropriateness to government procurement protocols, supply chain management and operating procedures. This may result in the streamlining of certification requirements and processes and the integration of government systems. The rating tool customisation will enhance the socio-economic elements of the rating tool.

This is a call for REQUEST FOR QUOTE for the appointment of an external service provider to customise the rating tool and to facilitate the stakeholder engagement required. Furthermore, an external reviewer will be appointed to Peer Review the customisation.
