A showcase of green offices
The Green Building Council SA (GBCSA) recently took up residence at its inspired new green office at the Blackriver Park complex in Observatory, Cape Town. They leveraged the opportunity to walk their talk, and designed a green office fit-out to ensure that their space resonates with their green building values and principles.
On the Wednesday, 18th September the Green Building Council SA will open its new office doors to Blackriver Park tenants and members to experience their green office fit-out. The GBCSA would like to see the premises becoming a living showcase of a green interior. The relocation to their new office was an ambitious project that was undertaken in only three months and was enabled by generous sponsors.
This story is told in a digital magazine now available on their website and shares how they followed the sustainable principles of the Green Star SA Commercial Interiors rating tool system to endeavour to achieve the first ever certified green office space, so that they could create a healthy, happy and productive work space.
