Sponsorship of a Green Star SA Rating Tool contributes to funding the cost of developing individual rating tools. The tool development process involves paid consultants and the assembly of a voluntary Technical Working Group. Budgets for the costs of development for individual tools will be compiled and sponsorship sought.

Each tool or benchmarking development project may be sponsored by principal and associate sponsors.

Sponsors would be recognised through branding on the rating tool documentation and full participation in the launch of the rating tool, in addition to extensive PR and marketing communications exposure. Sponsors are also encouraged to participate in the Technical Working Group which develops the tool and to submit projects as pilot projects to test the tool.
